BEHIND THE SCENES

Begun in mid-2019, Blood Magick is the feature debut of brothers Micah and James Delhauer. With a do-or-die attitude and a twinge of apprehension, the two rolled cameras in early 2020, only to be shut down mid-way through production by the Covid-19 pandemic. Filming recommenced a year later, and over the ensuing years the movie has been completed little by little.

The movie was filmed on location in Glendale, California, at Starmaker Costumes, former headquarters of Meyer2Meyer Entertainment. The filmmakers are eternally grateful to M2M owners Justin and Melissa Meyer, without whose generous contribution the film would not exist. Starmaker Costumes unfortunately burned down in mid-2024, taking with it thousands of costumes and countless memories.

Blood Magick made its world debut at Phobia Film Fest in Moberly, Missouri, and is currently playing film festivals across the United States.
